Since 1991, the Mac Galleries family has provided custom art framing and installation services throughout Metro Detroit. What began with a father (James A.) and son's (James E.) mutual interest in art and photography has become a community institution beloved for its beautiful work.
We work together to elevate local and national artists, with a particular focus on both emerging and well-known African American talent. We employ custom engineered framing techniques and thoughtful design in every project, and our hand crafted pieces can be found in many homes and offices in Michigan and beyond.
Over the years, our services have grown from art and photo framing to gallery consultation, home and office installation, even digital art purchases and subscriptions. With the support of the Motor City Match program, we are building out an expanded Mac Galleries along Detroit's famed livernois Avenue of Fashion.
